The Dark Knight Rises and then collapses like so many other cheese soufflés. By trying to combine both previous films into the plot Nolan quite literally digs the story into a metaphorical hole and then struggles to convincingly get out of. When it finally does we are left with a cast that have went through so many changes of character that the only thing you’ll be rooting for is the final credits. Verdict - Avoid.

The creative brains behind this reboot look to David Icke and nursery rhymes to inject lizard men and spiders in drains into the DNA of an already over told origin story. But the only thing “Amazing” about the finished product are the casting decisions that give us an Aunt May that’s hotter than Gwen Stacey! Verdict - Avoid.
